These lovely portraits in Japanese Manga style were the winners in the MangaRen contest on Worth1000 in September 2008. Gold winner Schoolgirl Chibi Moon was created by digital artist copycatfish. The picture is a remastered version of Bouguereau’s 1894 work Paquerettes (Daisies). Silver winner William Bouguereau Manga was the creation of HogHeaven. The photoshopped picture is inspired by Bouguereau’s Portrait de Gabrielle Cot (Portrait of Gabrielle Cot, 1890).
