Whatever you may think of would-be Veep Sarah Palin she knows how to get publicity for herself. In her latest attempt to steal the headlines she posed for the greatest painter of all time, William Bouguereau (or not?). This remastered Bouguereau portrait, created by Brazilian digital artist Craving, was the second-prize winning entry in the Sarah Palin contest on FreakingNews, in September 2008. The work is based on Bouguereau’s original 1895 work La Brise du Printemps (Spring Breeze). Below you can compare the two. Click each to see them in larger format.
